The State of the US and DJT

I really enjoy policy and strategy and teach and write on it, and have a lot to say regarding current events.

Giuliani is rumored for SecState.  Would rehabilitate him and probably HRC, given that incidents will happen and the SecState isn't responsible for embassy security, there will be recompense on the false claims about HRC as SS.

Conflicts of Interest.  DJT should really divest, and the kids shouldn't have national security access, because they could profit from or even initiate profitable official actions. Also, potentially, foreign powers could blackmail DJT over his foreign assets.  The security over this is lax though.  Cheney owned stock in Halliburton in a blind trust.  So what! His stock still profited from his official actions.

ISIS/ Russia Testing DJT.   Their objective would be to weaken the US's official resolve by making it seem weak. Russia's would be to raise public opinion against the US getting more involved in the Middle East or potentially the Balkans.   ISIS's endgame has been to get us and the West to converge on them in the Middle East, and for them to wage apocalyptic war, which so far we have been denying them.  

For example, the public and the propagandists raised up against NY trials of Guantanamo terrorists, because it would put us in the crosshairs.

Strategically, we are always in the crosshairs.  On offense, to move behind the efforts of other, especially Islamic countries, is ideal to deny ISIS the battlefield against us.  On defense, we want to be prepared for when they want to hit us.  The GWB treatment of Al Qaeda awareness/preparedness was awful, and we have to avoid hopeful ideology, like thinking Russia for some reason is our friend.  For deception, we actually would rather ISIS attempt a strike when we are best prepared for it, like during a marathon or a terrorist trial.  We also like exerting covert influence through drones and SpecOps in the Middle East.
